Limited repair warranty approach
Dallas Tub Fix should keep warranty language clear and repair-specific. A repair warranty is not the same as a guarantee against new damage, abuse, harsh cleaning, movement, leaks or hidden structural problems.
Generally covered
- Workmanship issues on the repaired area during the stated warranty period
- Repair-area failure that is not caused by new impact, misuse, movement or excluded conditions
- Issues reported quickly with photos and service details
Generally not covered
- New chips, cracks, impact damage or abuse
- Flexing, soft floors, plumbing leaks or water damage behind the fixture
- Harsh cleaners, abrasive pads, suction mats, standing water or improper care
- Damage outside the repaired area
- Color changes from older surrounding surfaces, lighting or staining
Why exclusions are listed
Repair work can only control the damaged spot that was repaired. It cannot control future impacts, building movement, hidden water problems, bad cleaning products or a fixture that keeps flexing under use.
Care matters
Aftercare instructions should be followed exactly. Do not use the fixture before the cure time given after the repair. Customers should avoid suction mats, harsh cleaners, abrasive pads and standing water over the repair.
How to report a concern
Send a clear close-up photo, a wide photo, the service date if known, the city and a short explanation of what changed. Quick reporting makes it easier to understand whether the issue is related to the original repair area.
Before the job starts
Warranty expectations should be discussed before the repair is scheduled. If the damaged area flexes, leaks, feels soft or was previously patched, that information can affect whether a warranty applies or whether the job should be declined.
After the job
Keep the invoice, follow the aftercare instructions and contact Dallas Tub Fix quickly if the repaired area changes. Waiting too long or continuing to use a failing fixture can make the issue harder to evaluate.
Why movement matters
Movement is one of the biggest reasons a repair can fail. If the tub bottom flexes, the shower pan moves, or the crack opens under weight, a simple cosmetic repair may not solve the real problem.
Why cleaning matters
Harsh cleaners can weaken the finish around a repaired area. Good care is not complicated: gentle products, no abrasive pads, no suction mats over the repair and no standing water left over the repaired spot.
